         Ant Oxley 

Head of Player Development & Recruitment 

 

 

 

 

Oxley had a very successful career in Sheffield England been selected the represent the Under 16 Yorkshire team at only 14 years of age.

 

From this early success he was selected to represent England and played as captain in France, Holland, Spain & Estonia. Ant led the team to a victory at the four nations tournament in Scotland and to a third place finish at the group stage of the European Championships. 

 

 

Oxley was recruited while playing in the European Championships to play in the NCAA at Mount Aloysuis College in Pennsylvania. Ant led the team to their best finish in the Allegeny Mountain Collegiate Conference and started as a freshman and sophomore.

 

In 2008 he graduated from Saint Francis University.

 

 

Ant Oxley is a current professional basketball player with the GIE Matrix in the Universal Basketball Association (UBA) and member of USA National Team for the Willaim Jones Cup 2016.  

 

Oxley has been a professional athlete for 8 years and has played in eight countries throughout his career. During the 2014/15 season Oxley helped the GIE Matrix earn their 6th UBA Championship while earning Most Improved Player Honors, being named to the Rookie V Sophomore roster and also winning the 3 Point Shootout. 

 

 

 

 

 

With a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology, Ant Oxley is highly qualified as head of player development and he brings expertise to the mental and physical development of the athletes at the International Elite Academy.

 

 

 

Ant currently resides in Atlanta Georgia with his wife Lauren.
