             Alysha Harvin

                 Women's Head of Player Development

 

 

Alysha Harvin is a current professional basketball player with the GIE Lady Matrix in the Women's Universal Basketball Association (WUBA) and Captain of the USA National Team for the 2016 William Jones Cup. 

 

Coach Harvin, from Dania, FL. At South Broward High School, Harvin was a 2005 Street and Smith's Honorable Mention All-American, 2005 South Florida Sun-Sentinel Class 6A-5A-4A Player of the Year, 2006 Orlando Sentinel All-South honorable mention and 6A All-State First Team selection.

 

Following a strong high school career, she took her talents to Florida State University (NCAA). In 2007, she helped FSU reach the Sweet 16 and the Elite Eight in 2010. In 2012, Harvin played professionally with the Gernika KESB Basketball organization (Spain) – averaging 14.2 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Alysha currently resides in Atlanta, GA and highly involved in the development of women's basketball in her community.
